Privacy Policy

Vision Flooring LLC (“we”) runs this website. We are a flooring contractor in Everett, Washington. We only ask for the information we need to answer your questions and prepare your free estimate, and we do not sell it.

Information you send us

When you request an estimate, we receive what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the city of the project, the service you need, the approximate square footage, how you prefer to be contacted and your message. If you used the flooring calculator or picked floor colors first, your answers or color picks are added to that message. Photos you attach are emailed to us with your request and are not kept on our web server. Nothing is sent until you press the send button.

We use this information only to contact you about your project, schedule your estimate and do the work you hire us for. When you call, text or email us, we see what you send us in the usual way.

How your request reaches us

Your request is delivered by email to our office mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). A private copy is also kept on our web server as a backup, where it cannot be viewed from the internet. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we only share it when that is needed to do your job (for example with a material supplier) or when the law requires it.

Spam protection

To stop automated spam, the form uses a hidden field and a short timer, and it limits how many requests can be sent from one connection in an hour. For that limit we store a scrambled code made from your connection's IP address for about an hour; it cannot be turned back into the address.

Cookies

The website itself sets one small cookie only when you move from the calculator or the floor colors page to the estimate form, so your answers can be carried over. It does not identify you and expires when you close your browser.

On our main website we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how many people visit, which pages are useful and whether our ads work. These services set their own cookies and receive information such as the pages you view, your browser type and approximate location. You can limit this with your browser's privacy settings, an ad blocker, or the opt-out tools Google and Meta provide.

Other services this website uses

• Google Fonts: the text styles load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them.
• Google Maps: the map on our pages is shown by Google Maps, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies; links to our Google listing open on Google's website.
• Links to Google reviews, Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, LinkedIn, the Better Business Bureau and the Washington State L&I license lookup take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
• Chat assistant: questions you type in the chat window are answered by our own website. The conversation stays in your browser tab until you close it. Questions the assistant cannot answer are saved, without phone numbers or email addresses, so we can add better answers.
• Hosting: like any web host, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Children

This website is meant for homeowners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
